This communications company approached us as their were looking for a fresh refurbishment of their existing offices. Some of the challenges presented to me within this scheme included and insitu client build, too much space, and budget constratins. The main aim of this scheme was to create a space that reduced the siloed working of their employees, create a friendly client experience and a better tea point for staff to come together at lunch time. The office had sensational views of St Paul’s Cathedral and the Thames River, but were being poorly under utilised. The design resulted in the relocation of the teapoint from the basement to the top floor, all teams were brought on across 3 floors of the office, as opposed to the inital 5 floor. 2 floors of this building were closed off completely to employees and the ground floor reception was opened up to create a wecloming reception with street front appeal, a kitsch coffee shop stop for the use of guests and employees alike and an all hands area.
